Quantum Connections Podcasts

In the Fall semester of 2007, I taught a First-Year Seminar called "Where is the Electron?!? The Strange and Fascinating Theory of Quantum Mechanics." Teaching this course was a real pleasure for two main reasons. First off, I love the topic and discussing this material in a rigorous but non mathematical way was both challenging and rewarding. Secondly, I had a really great group of students. They worked hard, were actively engaged in the material, and generally had a great attitude about learning. With few excepetions, it seemed like every member of this class (myself included) was excited about coming to class each and every day.

As part of this class, each student was required to produce a three-minute podcast that dealt with some aspect of quantum mechanics. These podcasts will be aired on Dickinson College's radio station in the Spring semester of 2008 (WDCV is on the FM dial at 88.3 in the Carlisle, PA area). In case you aren't able to hear them on the radio, I've uploaded them to this webpage.

Enjoy!
